Thanks to all of you who have posted feedback on our Livestreams. Based on your feedback we have some changes planned.

The monthly Producer Livestreams, scheduled the second Thursday of each month have been well received as we are able to address community concerns and offer information into what is coming so that is going to continue in its current form. The Story Livestream hosted by Charles Boyd, offers insight into the upcoming story chapters. Unfortunately, this is simply not working in the Livestream format. When you guys come to a livestream you are typically there for a few things; a dialog with us, answers to some of your questions/concerns, announcements around content, etc. The focus on sharing story insights just didnt work in the interactive format of Twitch.

Based on this feedback, we are going to do away with the story livestream. In its place, the team is going to work on a vlog which will provide similar insights in a video format posted on our YouTube channel. This means that if you love getting that information, you will still get it! Plus, the Story vlog will now include gameplay footage and some first looks into the next Chapter. This may mean that Charles will crash Bens stream now and again to talk a little bit of story, but ultimately that insight will be moved to the video.

I wanted to let all of you know that we are looking into the emails. For starters, here are a few things you should look for. As always, make sure to check all of your email folders, including spam, promotions, etc. The subject line of the email is either "A Familiar Face Joins Your Team - Play Chapter 10 Now!" or "Chapter 10 and Firebrand are here - Play Now!". I know of some users who deleted the email thinking it was just our normal newsletter, but your codes were contained in those emails.

Now, with all of that being said, I am looking into a few things:
  • Was the email sent to everyone who qualified.
  • Were there any errors during sending, that caused some people to be missed.
  • Did any other issues occur during the process which caused some people to be missed.

I have been going through this thread to verify that users were properly identified. As an example, Mutiny, the OP of this thread. I can see that you qualified for the email, and are on the list of people who received emails. So now I am checking on our side to ensure that users like you were in fact properly sent their email.

I will let you know what I find out!

We will be bringing down the servers tomorrow at 5AM PST (3PM GMT). The downtime is scheduled to last until 7AM PST (5PM GMT). The website will be unavailable during this time.

There will be no patch associated with this downtime, as we are performing back end updates.

I want to add some clarification to my original post. I mentioned that we are targeting Game Update 4.3 to have these fixed. The reason I stated 4.3 is that this would give us a buffer of time to make, test, and implement the changes.

However, I do want to note that we are actually quite hopeful that we can make these changes for 4.2. In this instance I wanted to play it safe as I would rather tell you it is fixed sooner than you expected, than say 4.2 and push it out. I will continue to provide you updates as I have them. I just wanted to alleviate some of your concerns. We are working to get this fixed as soon as possible!

I know there have been quite a few questions about when the Feb reward email would be going out. Many of you spotted the EA Help article which mentioned they would be sent out today. It is our goal that the emails will all be sent today. However, it is possible that they wont go out until tomorrow.

If for some reason they are not going out by end of day tomorrow, I will make sure we post an update! Thanks everyone.

Hey there,

Having your referral link in your signature is a perfect place for it, and is in no way against the rules. We won't take any action against someone who has a referral link in their signature, so go for it!

A referral link can only get you into trouble if you are spamming it in threads/posts around the forums. That is something we consider against the rules. I hope that clears up any confusion.

I just wanted to pop in and let you all know of a few things we are looking to fix in a patch next week. I don't have any dates/times yet, but the team is working to get these as soon as possible:
  • 212, 216, and 220 crafted Relics being Bind on Pickup instead of Bind on Equip.
  • It is possible to get in a state where you cannot complete Chapter X.
  • It is not possible to complete the Alliance Alert "To Find a Findsman" if you start Chapter X.
  • It's possible to lose items if you use the "Sort by Quality" function of the Cargo Hold.

Once I get a date and time I will make sure to post it! If the list changes at all, I will update this post as well.
