Hi Jagdulf,

Thanks for the report concerning the bug you encounter with the crate you received from the Login Rewards.

To help our team investigate this bug, could you directly create a bug report ticket? With a bug report ticket, all the information provided will directly go to our team.
  1. Click on the question mark icon on the main menu, (or press Ctrl + /).
  2. Select the Report Bug option.
  3. Make sure to give all the relevant information concerning your bug.
  4. Click on Submit.
In addition to that, I also have an additional question concerning the bug: when you moved the crate to your Legacy Hold, did you move it through the Legacy Bank?

Avoid for the time being putting that crate into the Legacy bank. Instead, open the crate to obtain the items, and then transfer those items. We have a fix coming with 6.2.1 to address this. I'll update you if there is any change.

Character Transfer

Hi AFadedMemory,

You were faster than me, but I've moved your thread to the bug report section. Here, your post will be more accurate than in the previous section.

Concerning your character transfer, you need to make sure that you're not a Guild Leader and you have enough space on the destination server. A few lockboxes can also prevent you from transferring a character.
More information about character transfer here: SW:TOR Character transfer.

As you already created Customer Support tickets, I invite you to wait for an answer from this team.

Bioware, why was the change made to stop us customising returning story companions

Hi TrixxieTriss. Had to do some digging. Off the bat, if a companion is considered a guest companion, meaning that they have not permanently joined your party, and you equip them with items, you can lose them if you lose the companion or reset your quest. The change made was to prevent that loss from happening as we did not want players to lose those items.

Guest companions can fall under two categories. One type of guest companion is that they are temporary and never officially join your party. The second would be that the company is considered a guest until they officially become your companion. That generally happens once an arc is completed.

I'm going to have additional conversations and see if a list can be made that categorizes companions as such, so it'll be helpful to know when you can or not customize them at all. It sounds like that would benefit players who are part of the RP communities as well. That might be a bit difficult to create as story affects this a bit, but I'll see what can be done.

Hi all,

Just like the title suggests, we would love to hear your suggestions for accessibility. I know that some threads already exist such as this one from Sewolf (http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=988390) and I will be adding them here as I find them. Additionally, if y'all see any others, feel free to link them here or add your own suggestions below.

We cannot guarantee that every suggestion is going to be implemented, but we do want to hear about what can improve the game in terms of accessibility.

The majority of what I've read so far throughout the forums is valuable feedback even if the tone that's being written isn't sunshine and rainbows. I am empathetic to how players feel and I am learning a lot about their experiences. My only ask is that when players do offer feedback that it is constructive regardless if it is positive or negative in nature. People can be express their opinion even if it's negative; I just ask that it be done respectfully and that we remember there are human beings on the other side of the monitor =]

I guess you only pay attention to #nerfAssassin threads, because you nerfed them pretty quickly huh.

I'm going to be honest, I can't tell what tone you're using in your post, but I'll start off on a fresh slate. I'm Jackie, and I started with the team in late November of last year. I don't know how long the concerns you brought up have been around, but if you would like to PM me some threads, I would like to look through them.

For everyone, I will likely reiterate this time and time again. I'm working to build the relationship and communication between player and dev team and vice versa. That takes time, but I hope you can see by the little changes that we've been doing around the forums is indicative of what we're trying to do to strengthen that bridge.

Moved this over to the Bug Report sub-forum, so we can track it and keep an eye on the feedback that is coming in. Thanks!

Queue Ban Changes

Hello again!

We have had various discussions around toxicity, especially as it related to PvP (previous thread here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=985281). I wanted to let yall know about an upcoming change that hopefully very few of you may experience.

Currently, the PvP lockout timer triggered by declining matches or leaving early in Ranked modes, and by being vote kicked in Unranked, prevents players from being able to queue for any PvP activity. This includes Ranked, Unranked and Galactic Starfighter modes.

One of the actions we may take on a players account due to violations of the Terms of Service is a seasonal queue ban. This prevents players from being able to queue for Ranked PvP modes for at least the current season.

We are updating this type of queue ban to mirror that of the lockout timer: Players actioned with a queue ban will now be unable to queue for any PvP activity, including Ranked, Unranked, and Galactic Starfighter. This change will be live in game update 6.2.1.

Finally, I wanted to offer thanks to all of you as we continue to find ways to decrease toxicity.

-Chris
