Thank you for the report concerning Rocket Boost being blocked after entering a Flashpoint while mounted on a random Mount.

Our team is aware of this bug and is currently looking into it. I'll update you in this thread when I know more.

Thanks for the report regarding the bug with Rocket Boost being not usable in a Flashpoint.

As stated in this thread: Rocket Boost in fp's "Cannot use Rocket Boost while you are already mounted", this bug is a known issue. For now, there is no additional information. I'll update you in the thread previously mentioned when I know more.

To avoid multiple threads concerning the same subject, I am closing this one.

Hello everyone,

PTS is now live! Players can experience Galactic Seasons and the Secrets of the Enclave Flashpoint.

Galactic Seasons

This is a new system we are introducing that allows players to actively earn rewards by completing Daily and Weekly Priority Objectives. While the Login Rewards are an easy method for collecting rewards by simply logging into the game, Galactic Seasons feature new high-value rewards based on playing the game.

How to Get Started
  • Log into your account with your username and password at www.swtor.com.
  • Click on your account name in the top right-hand corner of the site.
  • Click My Account.
  • In the left column, scroll down and click the link entitled PTS Character Copy.
  • Select the server and then the character that you wish to copy from.
  • Click the Copy Character button.
  • The site will display the current status of your character copy at the top of the page. Additionally, you can click the View your character transfer history link to see if the copy has completed.
  • Please note that if PTS is offline, you wont see the PTS Character Copy link.
Galactic Seasons Feedback Thread

Secrets of the Enclave Flashpoint

In this new Flashpoint, players will visit the ruins of the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine in pursuit of Darth Malgus. Experience a unique story and fight different enemies based on your alliance to the Empire or the Republic. The Flashpoints Story-Solo Mode will not be available on PTS to avoid story spoilers. Only the Veteran Mode can be tested straight away, and the Master mode will be available at a later date.

To try out the Flashpoint:
  • Youll need a level 75 character
  • Form a party and queue up in Group Finder
  • Once youre fully logged into the PTS, head on over to Odessen to pick up the Secrets of the Enclave Flashpoint Mission! On Odessen, use the elevator in the West hallway to the Alliance Operations room. Upstairs, you will see a marker on the Map to pick up this Flashpoints Mission.

With PTS now live, you can now help test our new Galactic Season! If you missed the announcement, a full breakdown of how the system works can be found here. As this is a robust system, we will be breaking down PTS testing and feedback gathering over the course of the next few weeks to test the functionality of the UI and rewards. Note that Cartel Coin purchases have been disabled to avoid anyone accidentally spending their live currency on a test server. Please dont even attempt to spend your coins, as they will be lost if it succeeds!

This first PTS update will focus on the natural leveling experience:

Players will begin at Reward Level 0 and make progress through the system naturally by completing daily and weekly objectives. You will not be able to purchase any catch-up levels by spending credits during the first week, and will only be able to progress by doing Objectives.

The new Galactic Season vendor will be live on the Fleets, however until you earn any Galactic Season tokens, you wont be able to purchase anything from him. His selection varies weekly though, so feel free to check him out each week!


To use the system:
Open the Login Rewards window (the checkbox in the upper-left of your screen), and youll see the new Galactic Seasons tab at the top! Your primary activities are the Daily and Weekly objectives in the upper-right of the window. Clicking these will pop you over to the Conquests window, where youll find Priority (P0) objectives that grant Galactic Seasons points. This is the primary way to gain progress in the season, and will point players to different locations daily/weekly.

Please answer the following questions:
  • Were you able to find the Galactic Seasons page?
  • Were you able to locate your Galactic Seasons Priority Objectives in the Galactic Seasons screen?
  • In the Conquest screen there is a list of tentative Daily and Weekly Priority Objectives. These are all denoted as "PO: Name". What feedback do you have regarding the current list of objectives?
  • How do you feel about the cadence and points offered in GS?
  • What other general feedback would you would like to tell us?
Future PTS builds will allow you to test out the catch-up system so that you can purchase levels, and well eventually turn on the credit boosters on PTS so that you can grab infinite credits to test out all 100 levels.

When we have a new PTS build with new changes, I will be posting another thread to gather all of your feedback. For this week, please answer the questions above and provide any other feedback, bugs, etc here.

  • "Characters we just saw... romance possibilities?"
    • This particular update is not high on the romance charts, but if we're speaking theoretically about all four characters...
      • Darth Krovos - We've never really gotten into what her situation really is. Maybe her and Admiral Zanken had a thing, maybe they're just really good friends, who knows. So I'm going to say maybe... but she's definitely someone that would kill you in your sleep, so be careful with that.
      • Darth Rivix - Definitely someone who would murder you in your sleep, but you'd have a great time. (Cue laughter from the team as that's alluding to a certain talking point in Gideon Emery's interview).
      • Arn Peralun - There's nothing particular in this update, but we'd be open to it in the future. It's something the writing team has heard the desire for.
      • Aryn Leneer - Aryn is married and has a kid, so whoa back off there. Respect their relationship.
  • "Where's Malgus?"
    • We certainly hinted at it, but Malgus is the whole reason players are going to Dantooine and the Jedi Enclave. He was spotted there and players are trying to track him down and see what he has been up to sine we last saw him. He doesn't seem to be following either Empress Acina or Emperor Vowrawn.
  • Galactic Seasons (00:44:00)
    • We're launching a whole new system called Galactic Seasons. Players can earn new and exciting rewards by completing Daily and Weekly Objectives.
    • The timestamp above links to Chris talking about the system, but an in-depth written article can be found here. There is also a separate forum thread that I spun up earlier today announce that.
  • Pre-recorded interview with Gideon Emery! (00:52:05)
    • Gideon is the voice behind Darth Rivix! At a certain point in the interview you'll see why Charles and the team started laughing at the idea of romancing Darth Rivix.

  • "For Galactic Seasons, are the rewards Legacy or Character based?"
    • They are Legacy based and they will unlock in Collections! And just to follow up on that also, the points earned are also Legacy based.
  • "Nico Okar and Paxton Rall, when?"
    • Interesting. Interesting. I will say the vendor will have some interesting things on rotation, so be sure to check out the vendor and maybe we'll surprise you.
  • "When it comes to Seasons will I have to be subscribed for the full five months or can I subscribe at the end and claim them all?"
    • That's a great question! To clarify, there also isn't a buy in price for the system, it's free. Subscribers do get an additional reward track though. So what happens is your progress will continue whether you're subscribed or not. If you're not subscribed, it will continue at a slightly slower rate. However you will not be earning those Subscriber rewards. If you do subscribe at a later point, you can retroactively claim all the rewards you would have earned as a Subscriber. For example, if you subscribed and were at level 30 for the Season, you could then immediately claim all the Subscriber track rewards from 1 - 30.
  • "Double XP, when?"
    • Soon! Probably shortly after Game Update 6.3 we would anticipate. The team was just discussing this a few days ago.
  • Game Update 6.3 - 'The Dark Descent' will be making its way to PTS soon. PTS will also be available on Steam! The team is targeting next week, but it's subject to change. We did not announce a release date for Game Update 6.3. We'll announce a release date after everyone has had a few weeks of hands-on experience with the PTS.

Hey DarkTergon,

If you want to message me about specific posts, I can do some investigation to see if there is a bug present. The only other thing I can think of is that a comment may be removed because it contains content that is deleted. As an example, and in many cases this would mean that the response links back or quotes a comment that is problematic or in some way violates the guidelines. Again, if you want to message me details, feel free.
