Hey all!

We've rolled out a new layout for our homepage on our Dark Theme for beta testing. Our goal was to be able to improve the way we relay information and content from both SWTOR and from TORCommunity, and to organize it more efficiently. We've added the ability to filter posts by their category (such as SWTOR News, Datamining posts, or Weekly Cartel Market Sales) to eliminate the need to scroll through posts you're not interested in.

We're still working on the new mobile versions of the new homepage layout, so bear with us while we work on the bugs. We'd love your feedback on what we've done so far and appreciate any suggestions you have for usability enhancements, tweaks, and so on to further improve the site.

With these new updates, it's never been easier to create content on TORCommunity, so we're now opening up applications for Content Editors! If you're interested in helping us post SWTOR News, generate our semi-automated Weekly Sales posts, or help our team create new guides for Game Update 5.0, then please send an email to admin@torcommunity.com.

Introducing Uprisings, a brand new combat experience that will launch with the Knights of the Eternal Throne expansion on December 2nd. Be at the center of action-packed 4-player battles that challenge players of all skill levels. Once you hit maximum level, you can jump into Uprisings through the Galactic Command interface, accessible from anywhere in the game. An exciting new feature of Knights of the Eternal Throne is the Galactic Command system which gives you the ability to impact the balance of the Force? in the ongoing dark vs. light war. Starting from your first moments in the game, you'll be able to choose whether to fight for the dark or light side of the Force?. If you change your allegiance, it's no problem ? changing sides can be done at any time. Plus, all of your actions, including killing enemies, completing Missions, and making choices throughout your story will determine your character's alignment. Everything you do as part of your gameplay ultimately strengthens your impact on the dark vs. light side war by igniting explosive and unexpected dark and light side battles on your server.
