Below are the upcoming changes for Concealment and Scrapper coming in Game Update 5.4.

Quote:
Note: All changes below are currently in development and are subject to change before being released.

Operative
Concealment
  • Acid Blade's damage has been reduced by 27.78%
  • Collateral Strike's damage has been reduced by 27.68%

Scoundrel
Scrapper
  • Flechette Round's damage has been reduced by 27.78%
  • Flying Fists damage has been reduced by 27.68%

DevNotes: The Concealment / Scrapper discipline was dealing more DPS than intended, so we made a couple changes to shrink it down a bit. These changes allow the Concealment Operative / Scrapper Scoundrel to still deal decent burst damage while having their sustained damage output brought in line with the DPS target.

Marauder
Carnage
  • Reduced the critical strike damage bonus granted by Sever from 15% to 10%
  • Reduced the damage bonus to Ataru Form attacks granted by Ataru Mastery from 5% to 3%

Sentinel
Combat
  • Reduced the critical strike damage bonus granted by Saber Storm from 15% to 10%
  • Reduced the damage bonus to Ataru Form attacks granted by Ataru Mastery from 5% to 3%

DevNotes: The Carnage/ Combat discipline was overperforming, so we reduced the effectiveness of two key passives to bring their DPS back in line with the target.

We did experience a queue for about 25 minutes, but were able to locate the issue and resolve without any downtime.

Apologize for the inconvenience.

#15 Queues on East Coast Servers

The Jedi Covenant server is now be ready for logins. We're still looking at the root issue, but apparently related to a stuck process which caused everything to backup. The queuing you experienced is an automatic/failsafe mechanism to prevent further logins and thus allow the Database to catch up.

We do not know if there will be any rollbacks for the players who were online at the time. My apologies for the inconvenience this caused you.

We're looking into what caused the Queuing issue and have taken the Server offline to keep anyone else from attempting to login while we investigate.

#10 "Launcher is being updated. Please wait"

Hey folks,

Before we get into the fix we strongly recommend that any users who are on XP or Vista upgrade their OS to Win 7 or newer if at all possible. This will allow you to play SWTOR going forward without any need for this fix. If you upgrade at a later date after using it, additional steps will likely be required to get SWTOR to run. This could even include a full re-install.

Note: Only use the below solution if you are receiving the "Certificate Authentication Failed" error on a Windows XP or Vista PC! Issues on any other OS or any other errors will not be addressed.

Spoiler

This launcher issue has highlighted for us that going forward, we will be unable to support Windows XP and Vista for The Old Republic. Since Microsoft has discontinued support for both of those OS, we will need to follow suit since we cannot reliably fix any issues that could arise.

The fix above will allow you to continue to access SWTOR until October. Beyond that, should any other issues crop up for XP or Vista users we will be unable to provide any assistance.

Thank you for your patience as we worked through this!
