Here's the latest information - Our priority focus is to resolve the issue related to the resetting of achievements. After that is deployed through a short downtime later today (it's being verified right now) and we know we've resolved the issue, we'll begin working on retrieving past achievement progress and, where possible (my disclaimer), add progress made since 5.9, for players who experienced this issue. You do not need to submit a Customer Service ticket!

Please note this will not be resolved and deployed until next week at the earliest, as we need adequate time to validate your data will be properly restored.

We'll keep you apprised.

For those asking earlier, Theron definitely isn't out of the story! We may not focus as much on him and Lana as heavily we have in the past (this storyline in particular really focused on the three of you, for example) but no plans for them to go anywhere anytime soon, unless it's the result of a choice that's offered.

As for the contact info not updating, we've got that one noted and plan to fix it in an upcoming patch. Thanks for letting us know!

He's a work-in-progress promotional item meant for later this year; apologies for letting him creep out from behind the curtain before he was ready. We'll most likely get him back under wraps in an upcoming patch and then share more detail later, when the time is right!

I had the title fixed. This is a very serious issue and we're working on a resolution right now. The goal is to match up your achievements before the patch and merge them with the progress you made after 5.9.

Our plan is to have this resolved today for anyone impacted. It'll require us to bounce the servers (essentially take them offline for a short-period, make the change, and restart). Once we have those details, we'll add the downtime information to the SWTOR Launcher.

We have Game Update 5.9.1 scheduled for May 22, 2018 where will be addressing other issues you may have encountered with 5.9.

Sorry this happened and caused you so much frustration. We'll get it resolved as soon as we can.

Hi all,

Customer Service also reached out to us about this same issue as they saw a growing number of reports pertaining to the Izax achievement.

Since I extended the deadline a couple of days, the auto-timer ran out early May 1st and anyone who downed Izax on Veteran mode between May 1 and May 3 did not receive the achievement. We will review those kills over the next week and those who completed it legitimately will be granted the achievement and your rewards will be made available.

Please note, don't submit a ticket to Customer Service, as they are not able to assist you with this particular situation. This will all be handled directly by the Studio here in Austin.

Will let you know next week when this has been completed.

The plan was when we released 5.9, so I have no problem with extending the deadline a bit longer. But, once we take the servers down on the 3rd of May, the extension ends.

Hi everyone,

One key learning this past year is not to release a Game Update if its not ready. We pushed really hard to be ready for next Tuesday, but we uncovered a couple of items we want resolved. To do that, we need a bit more time including this weekend to make sure our fixes are solid and ensure you have the highest quality play experience possible.

We decided to give ourselves an extra couple days and release Game Update 5.9: The Nathema Conspiracy on Thursday, May 3, 2018. Just in time for May the 4th!

Also, we will be providing a minor update on May 22 (Game Update 5.9.1) which includes the Nar Shaddaa Night Life event. Im also working on a new Roadmap that provides you with all the details of our upcoming Summer events and overall direction for the remainder of this year. Ill keep you updated on progress and let you know when well post it on our website.
