Default choices assumed as in, what companions you have or don't have. Who you have let live or killed. Dark or light side, etc.

Or do you mean will we tell you what specific options you would receive by default? In that we case we will likely not tell you what choices to expect, for spoiler reasons.

Today will mark the start of us revealing more of the nitty-gritty details of Game Update 5.2. Lets start at the beginning; who can access Iokath and how do you do so? We really wanted to ensure that as many players as possible are able to access the new content. With that in mind, here we go:
  • There is only one requirement to be able to access the new story content in 5.2, the character must be level 70.
  • You do not need to have an active subscription to play the story content, but in order to have a level 70 you must have subscribed since KOTET launched. Also, normal restrictions still apply, so you must be a subscriber to access the Gods from the Machine Operation.
  • The character does not need to have completed KOTFE or KOTET to play the new story. However, it is highly recommended that you have. There will be spoilers to those storylines if you have not played them. Also, if you have not completed KOTFE and KOTET, default choices will be assumed in the new storyline which may not match your preference.
    • Playing Iokath will not affect your KOTFE or KOTET gameplay in any way (such as advancing the story, etc).
  • To launch the new storyline, head to your ships Mission terminal where you can accept the Mission The Forgotten World.

Trying to send video of cheating in PVP SWTOR refuses to reply

As some others in the thread have said, we won't ever respond to a report of cheating/botting, etc with any kind of status update due to privacy reasons. The best method would be to send the details to me in a PM.

I do try to respond to each PM and at least acknowledge I received it, but I receive a lot of PMs and so I don't always do that. Just know that if you send something to me it isn't falling into a void, I do check them and pass them on as needed!

Hey there, good question!

The reason for no stream is that we wanted to make sure we had something of substance to not only talk about, but show! We didn't want to get in the habit of doing a stream just to do one.

As I just mentioned in this thread, we will have our next stream in the next couple of weeks. Since we are close to the update now we have everything pretty well locked and we can not only talk about the changes and the content, but show you some of it too! Even beyond that, I am going to spend some time in the forums next week talking about some of the smaller, but new, things coming in 5.2 as well.

Working to substantially reduce credit selling spam is a constant battle. We all know its impossible to eliminate all of it, but making it difficult or expensive to these spammers is an on-going effort most of our players never truly realize. Its one of the key reasons we make regular changes and occasionally let you know we did so. Sometimes, those changes simply dont work for very long and we have to try new tactics without disrupting your normal game play.

We made some behind the scenes changes in Game Update 5.1.3 (after the chat restrictions in 5.1.2 failed to slow them down) and since then we have seen a dramatic drop in the amount of accounts spamming credit sales, and the amount of messages they are sending overall. Depending on the time of day and what server you play on, you may have already noticed the drop.

What we are seeing now is actual player accounts being compromised and used to spam Credit Seller messages. In all cases, the players password has become known to the Credit Selling company resulting in that account being banned. The reason we are telling you this is a reminder that your account security is vitally important, and you should take care to never share your password, use the same password as your email (or other accounts), and to update it regularly. You should also consider adding a free Mobile Security Key to your account (we offer 100 cartel coins every month to each account using one!).

If you can't or don't want to, always try to be aware of strange login attempts on your account and notify Customer Service immediately if you spot them. We also know players visit these sites and purchase credits which quite honestly is a violation of our Terms of Service agreement and places your account at risk of being banned permanently.

Lastly, since we have taken the amount of accounts participating in spam down, reporting them is more important than ever. With less accounts to deal with, player reports are exponentially more valuable in not only squelching those accounts from spamming, but also allowing us to track them down even faster.

We want to thank all of you for every time you press that report button. Battling against credit seller spam is a war that will go on, but with your continued help we can keep it to an absolute minimum.
