Hey folks!

All servers are now live! Let's talk about why we did this quick maintenance. The Planetary Missions button in Galactic Command has had its functionality turned off to address a bug. The intent is to address the underlying issue and turn the functionality back on during our launch maintenance on Friday.

The reason we made this change is a bug where if someone pressed the Planetary Mission button there was a chance it could automatically complete some Missions. Meaning that by simply pressing the button, they could receive CXP. Additionally if someone declined the pop-up they would receive a new set of Missions which could continue this effect.

The actual effect of this bug is fairly minimal as it only impacted a limited amount of Planetary Missions. We are not taking action against individuals who experienced this bug. I also want to thank everyone for being discrete about the nature of this bug as we received quite a lot of personal messages indicating what was happening. That allowed us to isolate and address the issue quickly.

This is working as designed. The icon displays your selected alignment, because you will earn points for your chosen alignment by completing the Crew Skill Mission. HOWEVER, you will also earn the original value of Light or Dark side points as determined by the Mission.

In order to see this in action, you can hover over the Dark/Light icon in the top left corner of the mission to see how the math works out. Example: you're set to Light Side about to do a Dark Side mission, it will still show as Light. Hover over the icon to see the actually alignment point value.

It is not intended that you can customize Shay, outside of the one of the three Shay Customizations you can get from her Alert. This is a bug, and will be addressed in a future patch. Anything she is wearing will be returned to you when she is updated.

  • Crew Skills are missing from the Crew Skills UI. Workaround: Open the Crew Skills window with the hotkey ("B" by default) and they will repopulate.
  • Legacy Abilities are missing. Workaround: Relog and they will reappear.

The reason you are seeing this is that you likely do not have early access. That message is in error however, it should state that you need early access, not that you need to subscribe (given that you are already a subscriber). I will pass this on to the team.

The currencies have been removed with today's patch but the credits will not be granted until Friday, apologies for any confusion! Tait mentioned that and some other timing questions here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showt...75#edit9130475.

I can confirm that DvL will now show as being 0% for everyone and has been reset. This will have no effect on you receiving your rewards on Friday. The reason this happened is that since the DvL event is over, the Achievements have been wiped/reset should we run it in the future. Apologies for any confusion/alarm this has caused!

Again, this will have no effect on you receiving your event rewards on Friday.
