Hey folks,

It has been brought to our attention that when you gain a parcel from throwing a snowball in the Life Day event, you earn Command Experience Points. This is 100% intended as a nice little bonus of CXP for participating in the event. Between the cooldown on snowballs and the % chance to get parcels, this isn't better than simply participating in in-game activities such as Uprisings, Warzones, etc. We will continue to monitor this activity and if it creeps up to being better than endgame activities, we will likely lower the CXP that you earn from parcels.

Now, there is some concern about players exploiting this using bots and whatnot so here is a reminder: botting and macroing of any kind is against the Terms of Service. If an account is found to be using either, appropriate action will be taken up to and including account closure.

Please keep all of your feedback coming on Command Crates, Command XP, and Galactic Command. The team is always looking over your feedback and looking for ways we can improve the system! We have been reading everything you sent our way, and there are couple of stand-out points (this is by no means everything):
  • There needs to be a way to work towards a specific slot of gear to fill in gaps (especially set bonuses) for people who are unlucky with Command Crates.
  • Gearing your other characters is too grindy.

With this in mind, the team has some important changes planned for Game Update 5.1 coming next month to address the above concerns! We are finalizing those changes now and will walk you through our plans during this Thursdays Livestream, 12/15 so be sure to tune in. If you cant make the stream we will be posting a recap on the forums. I just wanted to let you know that along with the changes we have already made in 5.0a and 5.0.1, your voices are being heard. We look forward to talking with all of you about the upcoming changes.

  • We have been monitoring progress and feedback, and will continue making adjustments to Galactic Command.
  • In Patch 5.0.1 we are raising the Command Experience gained from a number of activities, ranging from 50 - over 100% increases.

Dark vs. Light Event
  • Rewards were delivered last week to players who reached the various tiers. Congratulations!
  • We have heard your feedback regarding the Achievements, and we will be returning the Tier Level Achievements.
  • We are fixing Master Ranos recruiting issues in Patch 5.0.1 on Tuesday.

As many of you have noticed since yesterdays downtime, Heroic Missions are now repeatable instead of having a weekly lockout. While this is a bug and we are going to fix it with 5.0.1 next week, we dont consider this an exploit. Thanks for those that have sent their reports of the issue, and enjoy your plethora of Heroics!

We have identified the issue, and are working to get it resolved. In fact, we have seen a significant dip in the queue.

If you're seeing issues with in-game mail, it is simply a delay - nothing has been lost.

We are going to continue working on the issue, but you should see a steady improvement over time.
