IMPORTANT: Do NOT use Outlander, Start at level 60/65 Tokens on PTS!

Hey folks,

If you are planning to play high/max-level content on PTS, use the character transfer option on SWTOR.com. Do not use any character boost tokens! The PTS is a live server and it will deduct from your account's Start @ 60 uses. Customer Support will not be able to restore any tokens used on the PTS, and characters that are created on PTS will be wiped at the end of the testing cycle.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hey folks,

Please use this thread to post your feedback on the 5.9.2 Warzone Changes. A few reminders:
  • Our goals are to shorten the average time of our Warzones to be around 12 minutes each. Also, we have some WZs that are exploitable due to environment hacking, we want to fix that.
  • Please try to reserve your feedback until after you have played the Warzone changes on PTS.
  • Make sure to include which Warzone your feedback is targeted at.
  • If your feedback is about a bug, please use the PTS bug report forum. This thread is aimed solely at feedback.

Reminder: The State of PTS

Hey folks,

Remember that the Public Test Server (PTS) contains unreleased content in an unreleased Game Update. You should expect that your play experience may not be optimal. This can also include the server coming down with little to no notice.

If you experience any bugs which are new to this Update or content, please report them in the PTS Bug Report Forum.

Thank you for taking the time to test!

Hey folks,

Please use this thread to post your feedback on the new Arena Map, Mandalorian Battle Ring. A few reminders:[LIST]
  • As an Arena map, the best way to test it is in Ranked play.
  • This map can also pop in the regular Warzone queue, but it is much less likely.
Let us know your thoughts!

Hey folks,

Please use this thread to post your feedback on the new Rishi Stronghold. A few reminders:
  • The prices on PTS are greatly reduced so that everyone has to opportunity to get into the Stronghold and help test.
  • Final prices will be comparable/slightly higher than the unlock/room costs of the Yavin Stronghold.
  • This thread is for feedback only. If you find Stronghold bugs, please report them in the PTS Bug Report forum.

Beyond any general feedback you may have, also let us know your thoughts on the following:
  • The layout of hooks in each room.
  • The availablity of hook types in each area.
  • The functionality of each of the PvP areas.
  • The functionality of the healing dummy.
Please be as specific as possible in your feedback. Thanks!

#2 Proposed Ranked Season Timing and Reward Changes

Hey folks,

Definitely keep the feedback coming! The team is reading through the thread to get an idea of everyone's thoughts.

A few points of clarification:
  • The prior rewards we are talking about are cosmetic rewards (mounts, weapons, armor) not things like Top 96 titles.
  • These older items on the vendors would be very expensive to purchase with seasonal tokens. We absolutely want to avoid "everyone" having our older top-end rewards. The intention would be for them to be accessible but still very rare.

Proposed Ranked Season Timing and Reward Changes

Hey folks,

Starting with Season 10 we are considering some changes to the frequency of Ranked PvP Seasons and how we structure rewards. Lets talk about what our goals are for these changes and what we intend to change.

Goals
We have a few specific things we want to address:
  • Seasons are going longer than we would like.
    • Although this gives us a lot of time to put together awesome rewards, it does mean you have to go many months within one season.
  • Having a new Currency to collect every Season can be clunky and adds extra complexity to earning and spending currency.
  • We have heard a continual desire to bring back prior Season rewards in a fair but accessible way.

The Proposed Changes
  • Seasons will now run 3-6 months - Our goal is to be around 3 months, but timing will be determined by Game Updates.
  • Due to shorter Seasons we would adjust our Seasonal rewards
    • Seasonal bracket rewards would be reduced overall. Ex: Each Tier might receive a Stronghold Deco, Title, and Flair
    • All Seasons will now use the same type of currency
    • We would implement a permanent Ranked Rewards Vendor which we would periodically add new items to, such as mounts, armor sets, weapon sets, etc.
    • Starting at the end of Season 10 we would add Season 1s rewards to the vendor for purchase. These items would be priced at a premium. This would mean they are available for purchase but they will be quite pricey to be fair to those who earned them at the time of the Season completing.
    • As we complete future Seasons we will continue to add prior Season rewards. Ex: We add S2 rewards as we complete S11.

These changes will keep some exclusive rewards per season tied to your rank, while allowing us to continue releasing bigger rewards on roughly the same cadence we did previously. This will also allow us over time to build an extensive list of goods on the vendor which keeps a greater incentive for players to continue participating throughout the Season.

TLDR Shorter Seasons, less tiered rewards with greater rewards on a permanent vendor, start rolling old seasonal rewards on the vendor for purchase at a premium.

Let us know your thoughts!
