Conquest End Time Change

Anyone could do those weekly quests before 2 PM eastern and they wouldn't count toward the new week's conquest.

The only difference NOW is that there is ONLY a 1 hour gap between old week conquest and new week conquest.

A) If you do the weekly on Tuesday before 1 PM NOW, and if you didn't do the weekly for old conquest yet, you can do it and get credit on the last day.
B) If you did the weekly before Tuesday during old conquest, and you do it again between weekly reset and new conquest...you don't get credit for it at all (you wasted it).
C) If you do the weekly AFTER new conquest starts, you get credit for it like normal.


B is the same today as it was a month ago. It's just a little more obvious now with the 1 hour downtime instead of the 24 hour downtime.

Thank you for raising this. Highlighting Darevsool's post as it is a pretty good assessment of my understanding of what is occurring as well (which has been going on since we adjusted Conquest timing). Gonna move this thread to the bug report forum, the team is looking into it. Most likely the Conquest time changing will address the issue, but I will pass on more details as I have them.

We are in the finalizing process on them now. We completely understand the frustration in the delay, but we want to ensure we are giving them to the right people! We have one last set of players we are investigating and then the rewards will be issued. I am still hopeful for this week, but it may be next.

In the future we will likely bring back pre-season between seasons so that we have time for this review.

Patch Notes will be available on the release of the update, here. Here are the current notes:
  • Closed a gap which allowed players to get underneath the Overlook platform in the Rishi Stronghold.
  • The Cartel Market image for the Visas Marr armor set is no longer showing the Marka Ragnos belt.
  • Despite the best efforts of the yellow team, the Novare Coast scoreboard now properly tracks the score for both teams.
  • Wins and losses are now properly tracked after all Ranked Matches (this was fixed on August 7th).
  • Dretcher’s Droids in Chapter XIII: Profit and Plunder will no longer reset.
  • Corrected an issue where the Veteran Mode Gods From the Machine bosses were harder than intended.
  • Players will no longer experience intermittent slowdown while in a Stronghold. (this fix also adds collision and LoS detection back for decorations)
  • Using various quick travel abilities will no longer randomly kill players.
  • Various character unlocks have been added back into the Cartel Market and will now display their appropriate price instead of "True."

However, given the issues we have had over the past week or so getting it ready the team wants to take an additional day of testing to hammer on it. Assuming those tests continue to point to a solid 5.9.2a, we will have maintenance on Wednesday morning (August 22nd). I will provide updates in this thread tomorrow.
